Any suggestions for a mileage tracker?

Last year, Todd and I had discussed that we want to keep track of the number of miles logged on our bikes throughout the year. Any good sidebar apps to help us keep track? It would be great to set a goal, especially considering that we fit more into the weekend warrior category. So far this year, a measly 22 miles for me on the Trek. But I've been in the gym at least 5 days a week, doing both cardio and weights. Really hard to get motivated when the temps are in the 20s!
These Continental Double Fighters are ready to log some miles!

Smooth and clean line

Quick video of Lars Tribus simply riding along on his rear wheel. He makes it looks so easy! Once again, link here.

Teaser for Making of BC Bike Parks

I guess I haven't been around enough fellow photographers when it comes to taking action/sports photography. I know my Canon 40D can do 6.5 frames/sec, but can't say I've really tried it in real world situations. Anyway, watch this clip with the sound on and listen to the shutter take off! Most noticable at 43sec.

Sorry, can't embed the shockwave video on here. Clip linky is here.

Another ride in a winter wonderland

Yup, snow still there. Actually it put a damper on our ride yesterday. Paul, Dave and I braved the elements and hit the Papio. Started at Paul's house and got all the way past Dodge before hitting the snow. We probably rode a half mile in the white stuff before passing a jogger who said it was covered until well past Center Street. So we hit the streets back to Tranquility, just to take a gander. About 10 miles ridden, not bad for a Saturday ride in mid-February.

Thanks again Dave for providing the map. Funny that you marked the point where you took a fall.

Going to try and put some photography up on here

Hopefully this weekend I'm going to make the effort and throw some pictures up on this blog. Whether it be a link, a sidebar photo album, etc., I'm not sure yet. Anybody have any hints or suggestions? Also, do I need to put the word SAMPLE across the photo so that nobody comes to steal and print my pictures? Not saying that they are that worthy, but you never know.

Bike FAIL

This reminds me of an old Simpsons episode where Homer assembled a bike for Bart. Let's just say that Bart didn't get very far. And why isn't the kid wearing a skull bucket?
