Except for a rider or two on last night's Monday NIGHT ride, lights were ablazin and fun was had. I think I say this every year, but I forgot what it is like to ride in the dark! Dusty, no contrast to the edges or bumps, trees seem alot closer than they should be...it's all a mind game I know. But still. Riding in the dark is definitely alot more dangerous when it comes to hitting the singletrack. Paved or Wabash, no problem. Just have to keep a sharp eye on the turns and use the brakes a little more often.
Thanks for riding last night fellas! Thanks to Dave N for the beer, Paul for the hummus and the place to pow wow afterwards, and Dave P for the chips! Get out there and ride before the temps drop and the snow falls! Unless of course...you have a fatty waiting for you at the factory :-)
