Saturday morning started off a little chilly to be ringing the bell, but by early afternoon the weather was great. I learned my lesson and wore four layers of clothing this time. Last time I rang bells, I think it was 20 degrees out and I nearly froze outside Kmart! This year I was at the Sears Oakview. It amazes me how giving and charitable people are. Especially surprising to see teenagers pull bills out of their pockets and just throw it into the bucket. Thanks to all that donate time/food/money to those in need. Sounds like the other biking folk had good success and times with the annual Cranksgiving! I'll try to make it next year.
