Cable vs Dish vs DirectTV?

Considering dropping my cable tv once I move. Will probably keep Cox internet though. Either just stick to network and netflix, or switch to Dish or DirectTV. Any input on this? I rarely watch tv, and find myself forcing the watching of anything over channel 10 to justify my high cable bill. Anybody out there with Dish or DirectTV? What do you think of their service and equipment? I heard some search better than others, etc. Also depends on if you watch more sports vs movies???
