Twas a long night...we started off at the Lucky Bucket Brewery for their annual BBQ. It wasn't anything spectacular, mostly because the lines were long and the DJ on the bus was playing music off of an IPOD. Come LB Brewery, even I have turntables in my bedroom! But considering that $22 got you 6 drink tickets and two meals, it wasn't too shabby.
Check out this party bike type of thing. There is a driver who steers and brakes. The rest of the riders have pedals to propel the thing forward.
There were bike fork mounts on the top of the bus. I'm guessing they bought it and turned it into a party DJ bus for the brewery
Next in the night came a stop at Havana Garage. Love that place. It's a cigar bar, usually with live music. While I don't smoke, it is still a great place to hangout. The atmosphere is top notch, the live music is jamming (usually jazz, folk, or something along that nature), and the open air seating is great on a beautiful night. For those of you wondering where it's at, it is across the street from the French Cafe.
I recently bought a new point and shoot camera as my old Canon Elph was literally falling apart. You know it's bad when you can pull apart panels and look inside the camera. The replacement was a Canon Elph 300HS. While only 12mp, it has a CMOS sensor allowing for better low light pictures and also shoots movies in 1080p with optical zoom. That was the biggest seller for me. Anyway, was playing around and found this "toy camera" effect. It makes it grainy and cuts out the corners. Something different and it works pretty good to set the mood in certain situations.

To end off the night, Jena, Zach and I ventured over to House of Loom for some dancing. Brent Crampton who started this whole Loom idea at Espana, took it to another level by opening his own club off of 10th and Pacific Street. Some nights they have live band music, other nights they have banging house djs to get the dancefloor jumpin.
Jena's hat on Zach...what a fun night!
