Biking to Alice in Chains

Or I should say we biked to Alice in Chains. Did the usual park in downtown Omaha and bike to Stir Concert Cove to see Alice in Chains. Or rather hear Alice in Chains. They sounded pretty good, except no opener and they only played for 1.5 hrs. Ouch, glad we didn't actually pay the $50 something to get in.

Was a gorgeous night for a ride and a concert. Coming back across the bridge they were doing a basketball shoot with CU. For some reason, I guess I watch too many youtube videos, I thought they were throwing basketballs off the bridge and trying to shoot them into a hoop in the water. You've seen those trick shots they do on Youtube. Well wrong, it was a basketball photography shoot. Haha. Still cool to see it happening though. Suits and sneakers. Blue Sneakers that is...

They were shooting what off the bridge?

So I just snapped a quick picture as we pushed our bikes by. Flash and all. It was funny, one of the players said, "Please please, a little warning so we can smile first!"

Monday night roast

It was a scorcher. Hot, muggy, energy zapping. As Dale said it, turn your riding down a notch.

Small group that night, Paul showed off his new toy, and Elise didn't fall. ha. Good ride, cooled down slightly after the breeze picked up and a wind started coming in from the East. Yeah, was weird seeing clouds going in every which direction!

Free Custom made fatbike

!!! Yeah that's what I'm understanding from this article. You just need to find the custom fatty along the 363 miles or Oregon's coastline. And better yet there are 7 fatbikes, all made by different builders.  It actually sounds like a really cool idea! Anybody want to make a trip to Oregon?

Soloshot

I came across a video commercial for this device. Super cool. You attach your camera to it, you wear a transmitter on your arm or wherever and the device will follow your location up to 2000 feet away. Is it the ultimate selfie? We've all tried to take pictures of ourselves biking or doing whatever, set the timer, and hope you get the shot you want. Well now you just set it and do your thing! It'll follow your location!
