Helmet Club and OFD Bikes For Kids

I was recently asked to photograph a charity event. Many good people took the time to repair and clean over 100 donated bikes that will be given away to children that need bikes! Check it out! Giveaway of helmets and bikes is dated for July 5, 2013.

Last MNR

I admit that I haven't been riding as much as hoped for the year. Life has been busy, weather has gotten better, but that also equates to more trailwork just to keep them up and going. Made it out to last MNR, had a great time as always. Mid 80s after work, thought it was going to be hot. Cools down quite a bit after 6pm, not too shabby! Lots of riders out. Good times with good folk!

An editorial, after the hit and run death of a DK200 rider

If you guys have being following the reports and pictures from Dirty Kanza up on FB, then you may have heard that there was a hit and run death of a bicyclist during the race.

Well almost a week later, in the Salina, KS paper, this editorial shows up asking bikers to not bike during the harvest season. They weren't asking you to be careful, or be aware of surroundings, but more like stay at home because "you aren't training for the Olympics". Read it and see what you think by the tone if it. included were the writer's name and an email.Let the flaming begin!?
